Chapter One :Chapter 1

"Boss, are we really leaving?"

In the Northern Territory of Dragon Country, atop a colossal city, the three foremost gods of Dragon Country focused their intent gaze onto a young man standing before them— the world-renowned God of War!

"Hmm!"

Lin WuYa nodded his head, uttering in a plain tone, "After yesterday's battle, many top-notch experts gathered from several empires were wiped out in one sweep by us!"

"The present Northern Territory has built an unrivaled city that none dare to challenge in the short term!"

"There are two reasons I am leaving Dragon City."

"The first, after yesterday's battle, despite sweeping eight hundred of the enemy nation's top-notch experts, I have also suffered severe injuries. This departure from Dragon City is necessary for recuperation!"

"Surrounded by enemy nations with wolf-like ambitions, their desire to destroy our Dragon Country never ceases! I'll guard the Northern Territory once my injuries have healed and I return!"

"Secondly, eighteen years ago, I was kidnapped by human traffickers and rescued by the soldiers of the Northern Territory, subsequently settling here. I've stayed here for eighteen years!"

"Eighteen years ago, I was five. Even though I lived in an orphanage, I had a joyful childhood!"

"I have seven sisters. Though we share no blood relation, they treated me as their kin!"

"I once swore to protect them all my life!"

"Now is the time for me to fulfill my promise!"

At this point, Lin WuYa fished out an old, yellowed photo from his chest — somewhat weathered in a few places.

But for him, this photo was nothing less than a treasure.

In the picture, there were eight children huddled together.

Among them, seven were girls and only one was a boy.

And the boy was him.

My sisters? Are you all alright? Your little brother has returned.

With a faint smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, Lin WuYa tucked the photo close to his body again.

"I've made up my mind. The Dragon City of the North is now in your hands!"

With that, Lin WuYa spread his arms wide open and leaped down from the Dragon City towering a hundred meters high.

"Farewell, God of War!"

The three Great God Generals shouted in unison!

"Farewell, God of War!"

Inside the Dragon City, one hundred thousand Dragon City soldiers roared in unison. The sound overwhelmed the heavens, dissipating the thunderclouds!

Upon his return to Dong Shui City, Lin WuYa felt as though he was in a different world.

As the saying goes, a girl can change a lot by the age of eighteen.

Presumably, his seven sisters have all grown into beautiful young women now, haven't they?

Eighteen years, there had been no contact between him and his sisters. If he wanted to find them, he might need to visit the orphanage where he used to live. Perhaps there, he would find some news about them.

Kindheart Orphanage.

This is the name of the orphanage, where Lin Wuya spent his childhood.

Kindheart Orphanage, is located on the hillside of a small mountain in the west of Dongshui City.

When Lin Wuya arrived at Kindheart Orphanage, a trace of surprise flashed through his eyes.

Although the orphanage is still called Kindheart Orphanage, it is completely different from before.

The orphanage Lin Wuya remembered was a few simple blue brick and tile houses, but what appeared in front of him now were two three-story buildings.

It could be argued that the conditions of the current orphanage are much better than before.

However, the next moment, Lin Wuya's heart surged with a raging anger!

At this moment, at the entrance of the orphanage, there stood two rows of children in neat lines, some tall, some short, some chubby, and some skinny.

Among them, some children still had the childishness on their faces.

Today was a sunny day, with the sun brazenly blazing on the earth, and it was just noon now.

The outside temperature was up to thirty-seven or thirty-eight degrees Celsius!

Even under the sun, the temperature could exceed forty degrees Celsius!

Such high temperatures, not to mention these delicate children, even adults, could not withstand it standing under the scorching sun!

Why was the orphanage causing these fragile children to be exposed to the sun?

Is this a punishment for these innocent and lovely children?
